Clues To The Sky Tears Of The Kingdom Solution And Locations

Navigating the main quest titled Clues to the Sky in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom requires solving clever environmental riddles across Zora's Domain. Players must locate hidden figures, access sky islands, and execute precise actions to restore peace to the region. This guide breaks down every crucial step to complete the quest quickly and efficiently.

Locating King Dorephan in the Pristine Sanctum

The first major step in solving Clues to the Sky involves finding King Dorephan to receive the King's Scales. Eavesdropping on the Zora children near the throne room in Zora's Domain reveals hints about a secret hiding spot behind a waterfall.

Travel toward Lulu Lake near Ploymus Mountain to discover the entrance to the Pristine Sanctum. Inside this cave, players can speak directly with King Dorephan to receive the crucial scales needed for the puzzle.

Reaching the Land of the Sky Fish

With the King's Scales in hand, head over to Mipha Court and look toward the eastern sky. You will spot Floating Scales Island, a distinct sky structure shaped like a fish.

To reach this sky island, Link can stand on falling ruins and activate the Recall ability to ride the rock upward. Alternatively, equipping the Zora Armor allows players to swim directly up the cascading waterfall reaching down to the surface.

Solving the Droplet Puzzle

Once you arrive on Floating Scales Island, navigate to the central area and clear away any blocking sludge. Stand near the edge looking toward the southwest to spot floating rock fragments that form the outline of a teardrop.

Equip Link's bow and fuse one of the King's Scales directly onto your arrow. Shoot the fused arrow precisely through the center of the teardrop visual alignment to trigger a glowing light pillar in the lake below.

Completing the Quest and Moving Forward

Hitting the droplet target completes the puzzle requirements for Clues to the Sky and reveals the entrance to the Ancient Zora Waterworks. Return to Mipha Court to report your success to Prince Sidon and prepare for the next objective.

Clearing this quest opens up the path toward the Water Temple and brings you closer to purifying Zora's Domain. Ensure your equipment and supplies are fully stocked before diving into the upcoming dungeon challenges.
